Video shows Ukrainian drones blasting Russian boats

A dramatic video shows the moment Two Russian military patrol boats were blown up by Ukrainian drones in the Black Sea, the Ukrainian military said.

According to the Ukrainian military, footage shows a Turkish-made Bayraktar drone flying over and attacking the high-speed watercrafts.

“Two Russian Raptor boats were destroyed at dawn today near Zmiinyi (Snake) Island,” Ukraine’s Defense Ministry confirmed in a statement.

The commander in chief of the Ukrainian armed forces, Gen. Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, applauded the drone technology.

In the announcement, Zaluzhnyi was quoted as saying, “The Bayraktars are working.”

The coastal patrol Raptors, which are around 55 feet long, can carry up to three crew members and 20 Marines.  They are equipped with machine guns.

There was no immediate reaction from Moscow to the ships being hit.
